About The Chamber
About the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce
In 1988, several community leaders, including Norman Adams, Harold and Milton Wiesenthal, Jack Fields, and George Polk, Jr. saw a need for a forum to promote business in near-northwest Houston, and so the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce was born.
Today the Chamber serves hundreds of companies from Buffalo Bayou north to Oak Forest and beyond. We empower members to grow by providing networking opportunities, referrals, community exposure and business education. Through monthly breakfast presentations, luncheons, evening mixers, seminars and other events, the Chamber works to develop local commerce. The networking opportunities are boundless. LINKED, our monthly member magazine provides numerous opportunities to highlight your business both through news coverage and advertising. We’re also very invested in the success of our community, working closely with local school, civic and charitable organizations. We have awarded nearly $350,000 in scholarships to area students.
We encourage you to open the Greater Heights Chamber brochure (shown at right) and discover all the benefits of membership. And feel free to contact us for more details on joining our Chamber. For your convenience, you may also join the Heights Chamber online.
